I'm still digesting "Welcome to Marwen". First off, the special effects are outstanding! But it's so odd and quirky. The main character, Mark Hogencamp, is very unconventional but doesn't harm anyone -- and yet -- he's almost killed because of his fashion preferences. There's a powerful message in this movie but it felt a little forced at times. And it's very heavy. No secret why it wasn't a box office champ.
